Our project was conversion of 2000 sq. ft. of plain grass backyard to a beautiful hardscape.
Armondo Perez is undoubtedly the best contractor I have employed, including all those who helped us recover from the extensive damage of the 1994 earthquake. His personal qualities of patience, understanding, and good communication enabled us to work together to achieve an outstanding result. In short, he listens. Better yet, his skills ensured an excellent and timely execution of our plans. He was able to include cost effective improvements without imposing his own ideas upon the design. All this required adaption to the changes and problems that always occur in the progress of any job. The biggest problem was the material supplier, Arroyo Building Materials. We are meeting the requirements of the Dept. of Water and Power's program for reducing water consumption, for which they provide a subsidy. In addition to reducing my future costs compared to a grass lawn, it certainly will require less effort on my part.
